The opening weekend of the exhibition was quite nice. There were lots of things to do in town, the weather was beautiful and so many people were around and popped in. Also many friends found their way to the galery.

The colour version fits into this blue series from Romania. I am also very fond of the black and white version. That's why I show them both.

Back in town

Back in town again and starting to process the many pictures I took with me. This journey into Romania would have been wonderful, if my camera hadn't been stolen in a restaurant. The thief took it - and a lens, leaving another lens where it was - from my closed rucksack, which was half under the table beside my feet, while we were busy talking and eating. A very unpleasant surprise, when I discoverd what happened...And how to explain it all to the non english speaking duty officer at the police station. In the end I got what I wanted - a police statement for the insurance company that I had been robbed.

I then bought a new camera, we made a lot of black jokes, trying to laugh it all away and to feel less shaky, continued our journey.
